Who we are…
As a couple of beekeepers in northern California we learned the ropes working for other bee guys. As with other businesses and trades, sometimes it takes fresh eyes to see that there are better solutions for the problems and tasks encountered in the course of the days work.
Twenty some years ago I started thinking about how miserable metal feed cans are. I looked high and low for a plastic can that would work for feeding bees. I even brought a hand-drafted drawing of what would become the Easy-Grip feed can to at least one plastics company.
Years later we are still feeding bees and those old metal cans haven’t changed but that doesn’t mean we have to use them any more…
